22 Weeks of Photography

The Twenty-Two Weeks photography project is a way for photographers – professional, enthusiasts, and amateurs alike – to challenge the limits of one’s skills, encourage and harness creativity, and spark dialogue among creative professionals. Also, it’s fun!

Photograph:

Taking photographs is something most of us do nearly every day. Whether we use our camera or our smart phone, capturing images has become a lifestyle norm. However, taking a snapshot and composing a photograph aren’t necessarily the same thing. Twenty-Two Weeks is a project that will help you jump start your creative process and assist you in thinking critically about the choices you are making before you click the shutter. This project intends to help you create well-designed, conversation-worthy images by guiding you through bi-weekly photo assignments.

Details:

Twenty-Two weeks first submission is due on February 21, 2014 and each submission is due 2 weeks after that. The last submission will be on December 12, 2014. After each weekly submission is received, you will be notified of the next submissions subject matter. Photographs will be submitted electronically to the supplied email address and as a 5″x7″ print that will be hung in the Production lunchroom for viewing.
